temperzone and Hitachi Announce Strategic Alliance - 03/08/09
temperzone australia pty ltd and Hitachi Appliances, Inc. have announced a strategic alliance which will see Hitachi air conditioning products exclusively distributed in Australia by temperzone.
Note: This does not effect the current exclusive distributorship of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) air conditioning products in New Zealand by temperzone ltd.

R22 Models No Longer Available in Australia & New Zealand - 01/08/09
Stocks of the old temperzone R22 refrigerant based systems have now been completely run out. These older models can no longer be ordered as they do not comply with MEPS. Spare parts are still available for these models.
Expanded Mid-Range Ducted Split Systems - 03/08/09
temperzone's current mid-range splits (33kW–46kW) now include the option of a belt drive indoor unit for increased air flow flexibility. There is a choice of horizontal or vertical discharge versions. A higher grade filter is also available. More info.
NEW Floor Mount Systems - 6/06/09
MHI has introduced three new Floor Mount systems called the SRF-ZIX models (2.5, 3.5 & 5 kW). These models feature industry leading energy efficiency. More info.

New Digital Scroll Compressor Models - 30/10/08 temperzone now has two ducted split system models (ISD/OSA 175/210RKTG) that use digital scroll compressors. These compressors provide a variable capacity ability that enables closer control of room temperature. More info (Emerson Copeland).

New Water Sourced Packaged Units - 24/10/07 temperzone is currently developing a range of MEPS compliant HWP water sourced units that use R410A refrigerant. Please refer to your local temperzone office for preliminary information on the models so far (3.5 - 13.9kW). Current R22 models will remain available, but only while stocks last.
New Products Release - 1/09/07 Information on the of first of temperzone's new MEPS compliant R410A products is now available for Ducted Split Systems up to 27kW. Please check on product availability before ordering. Current R22 models will remain available, but only while stocks last.
New MEPS Rated Products - 1/07/07 As from 1 October 2007 all air conditioners manufactured in or imported into Australasia must by law comply with new MEPS requirements. MEPS is the minimum Energy Performance Standards which are set out as minimum Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) levels. Over the next 6 months temperzone will gradually be releasing its new range of R410A products whose ratings meet the new MEPS requirements. Watch this space for more info.
ENERGY STAR Partnership - 4/05/07 Temperzone has entered into a partnership with the New Zealand Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) to promote the ENERGY STAR programme. ENERGY STAR is the global mark of energy efficiency. It is an independent endorsement mark. Only products that meet stringent criteria may display the mark. MHI has six models that meet this criteria. More info.
Product Name Change - 1/05/07 MHI's SRK-ZDX range of Wall Mount systems are being progressively replaced by the new SRK-ZGX models (2.5, 3.5 & 5.0 kW). The product specifications remain largely the same. More info.

MHI Superdeluxe Wall Mount Systems - 26/10/06 The new SRK-ZDX models (2.5 & 3.5kW) have inherited some of the features of the larger SRK-ZE range including outstanding efficiency, allergen clear system and extra quietness.
