Story: With Air Quality being a vital component of the customer experience, temperzone worked hard to provide units for the new complex serving Pak'N Save, McDonald's, The Warehouse and the entertainment and cinema complex.

The challenge was considerable. At the time new MEPS regulations required that units be upgraded to utilize the new ozone-friendly, chlorine-free R410A refrigerant. The resulting installation featured New Zealand’s first series of R410A packaged roof top air conditioning units – all produced within a six-month time frame.

In addition the architect was looking for a system which did not have visible air-conditioning units as the building was visible from the Southern Motorway and the South Eastern Motorway which cuts across the site on an elevated carriage way.  By installing most units on a parapet below the rooftop parking level the problem was solved.

Location: : Mt. Wellington Auckland.

Units: Approx. 200 packaged rooftop units ranging from 21 to 180kW.
